The Story Behind the Work

After more than 30 years as a speech-language therapist and executive in long-term care, Ann followed her passion for restoring furniture and honoring stories through craft. What began with a $5 auction chair quickly grew into Furbish Upholstery — a studio rooted in skill, humility, and hands-on learning.

Today, Ann helps others bring new life to treasured pieces through custom upholstery and guided workshops designed to teach, connect, and inspire.
